Born Oct. 6, 1914, in Eureka to Roy and Nora Lee Cozart Morgan, she married Clarence Gunther on Oct. 30, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa. He died March 30, 1997, in Peoria.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald of Bartonville and Robert of East Peoria; three grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Louise Morgan of Morton.
She worked as a legal secretary for Judge Joseph Storey for eight years, retiring in 1942.
She did volunteer work for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, in Peoria.
She was a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy Chicago Chapter.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville, where she taught Sunday school for many years.
