Excerpt -- The subject of this sketch was born near Harmony Grove on the 20th day of March 1891, and died April 2, 1931, aged 40 years. He was a son of John A. and Martha King Wolfe. Six girls and three boys constituted the family circle of this home, in the past eighteen months four members of this family have been translated to the spirit world; of this family five girls and two boys still tabernacle with us. He was united in marriage to Bliss Frankhouser, daughter of Isaac and Rhoda Wolfe Frankhouser; there were no children from this union. He had been a patient in the hospital at Baltimore since last July. During the suffering of these weary months his faith in God never failed to be reflected in patience and recognition to his Father's will. Services were conducted in the Centenary Church by Rev. S. E. Ryan, assisted by Rev. Charles Hawkins of the Cranesville charge. The large church at Centenary did not hold the congregation More than 400 people viewed the remains. The floral display was beautiful.
