Carol Jean Akright, 63, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, June 5, 2005 at her home in Bella Vista, Ark.She was born on March 27, 1942 in Kiel to Daniel Dhein and Mildred (Schnieder) Dhein.She was born and raised in Kiel. She married Walter Akright on June 15, 1966 in San Diego, Calif. They lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, East Dubuque, Ill., and Overland Park, Kan. Carol was employed as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration for over 20 years. They retired and moved to Bella Vista in August 1998. She was an avid golfer and member of the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the Bella Vista Community Church.She was preceded in death by her father.She is survived by her husband, Walter Akright of Bella Vista, Ark.; mother, Mildred Dhein of Kiel; one son, Jerry Akright of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Lori Seeling of Kansis City, Mo.; one step-daughter, Deborah Demirovich and husband, Ibro of Hershey, Pa.; three brothers, Thomas Dhein and wife, Kay of Kiel, James Dhein and wife, Barbara of Kiel, John Dhein of Appleton; five sisters, Janice Fogeltanz and husband, Richard of Two Rivers, Nancy Wriedt and husband, Roger of Madison, Sandra Spradau of Madison, Elizabeth Scharanbroch of Kiel; Margie Jones and husband, Kevin of Sheboygan; one grandchild, Gabriella Demirovic; and 20 nieces and nephews.
