The earthly remains of Adam Kohr were laid to rest today by a large group of mourners. The deceased was one of the first German settlers on the Resson-Strasse, where he developed over long hears a farming operation and through diligence and frugality amassed a considerable fortune. He belonged, because of his strong integrity and his benevolent character, to the most prominent German farmers. Kohr was 74 ears old and moved here with his wife several years ago, where several of their married children are, and the elderly retired couple lived. About two years ago the deceased lost his dearly beloved wife, a sad loss for the old man, who grieved since her death. Six children and many friends hold der memories of the worthy man.
