RAYMOND SIMPSON
ANDERSON - Raymond W. Simpson, 89, Anderson died Friday morning at the Turtle Creek Convalescent Center in Noblesville after an extended illness. He was born May 7, 1884 in Phillipsburg, Pa. to James and Mary Jane Simpson. He was married to Edna I. Poole who died in 1941. He was retired from the Delco-Remy Division in Anderson and was a member of the Elwood Masonic Lodge. Survivors include four sons, Dan Simpson of Elwood, David Simpson of Seattle, Wash., Raymond Simpson of Wichita Falls, Mo. and William Simpson of Kansas City. Mo; two daughters, Mrs. Myron Dill of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruth McVicker of Bloomington; one sister. Mrs. Frances Eldridge of Long Beach, Calif; 23 grand-children and 18 great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held Tuesday at the Elwood City cemetery.
