Mr. DiBona worked for General Dynamics in maintenance and retired in 1984.
He was born and raised in Quincy and lived in Braintree.
Husband of the late Christine Ann (Squatrito) DiBona, he is survived by two sons, William DiBona of Weymouth and Ronald DiBona of Braintree; a daughter, Linda DiBona of Braintree; many brothers and sisters; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Richard P. DiBona.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Hamel, Wickens and Troupe Funeral Home, 26 Adams St., Quincy Center. Burial will be private.
Visiting is 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
