Mrs. Plant worked at the former Berrini's Market in South Quincy for more than 40 years. She enjoyed cooking and playing bingo with friends.
Born in Quincy, she graduated from Quincy High School and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Wife of the late George Plant, she is survived by a son, George Plant of Rockland; two daughters, Pauline Marcel of Quincy and Kathleen Graden of Norwell; four grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy. Burial will be in Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
