The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Stroessner was held this afternoon from the Evangelical Church at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Paul Stoerker, officiating. The remains were interred in the Evangelical Cemetery.
Mrs. Stroessner died Sunday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, at her home, 220 West Ashley street, after a lingering illness.
She was 71 years old and had been a resident of this city for a number of years. Three daughters, all residing in this city, survive her, and are: Mrs. Lawrence Huegel, Mrs. Anna Burkenbach and Mrs. John Duemmel.
