Minister's Widow Dies in Saginaw

Mrs Katherine Sheehan was Food Director

Mrs. Katherine A. Sheehan, 539 Sunset lane, East Lansing, formerly active in the restaurant business here, died Thursday evening in a Saginaw hospital as a result of complications following a fall there.
Prior to her death, Mrs. Sheehan had been head of the Highland Park YWCA food department.
For several years she served as director of the YWCA Pantry and assistant director of the Hunt Food shop in East Lansing.
Mrs Sheehan was the widow of Rev. John Sheehan, former pastor of First Methodist church. She was a member of Central Methodist church.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Ruth Ellen Sheehan of East Lansing; a sister, Miss Ruth M McLellan, assistant superintendent of the Saginaw County Tuberculosis hospital, and a brother, Arleigh H. McLellan of Lantry, S.D.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Estes-Loadley- Colonial chapel, with Rev. N.A.McCune officiating. Burial will be in LaPorte, Ind.
