Services for Carl Royce Blundell, 75, of Tyler, will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home chapel.

Burial will follow at Flint Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Blundell passed away May 31, 2013, at ETMC in Tyler. He was born Oct. 24, 1937, in Flint to Carl Odell and Lola Pearl Cooper Blundell.

Carl lived in Tyler since 1964 and retired from Flowers Bakery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Blundell and brother, Leon Blundell. Carl is survived by his loving family including his children, Brenda Blundell, of Tyler, Polly Nixon and husband Roger, of Bullard, and Tony Blundell, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Bennie, Robert, Clinton, April and Aaron; and by great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ben, Brantley, Ryleigh and Kenedi.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Hood, Robert Hood, Aaron Colston, Roger Nixon and Mark Nichols.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
