George Adam Todd, 58, of 9441 W. Ford Road, Lexington, died Monday, March 3, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 18, 1944, in Madison, the son of William Lee and Nancy Ella Jones Todd. He had been employed as a chef at the Ogle Haus in Vevay; the Clifty Inn; and Holiday Inns in Louisville, Ky. He was also a musician.

Surviving are five daughters, Terrica Smith Brooks and JoAnn Todd Freeman, both of Madison, Brandy Todd of Mishawaka, Amanda Todd of Scottsburg and Karen Todd Lovegrove of Florida; two sons, Paul David Cardwell of Madison and Adam Todd of Lexington; his mother, of Madison; one sister, Cheri Todd Thorne of Madison; one brother, Ira W. Todd of Madison; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a companion, Rhonda Watson of Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Anna Katherine Edwards; and two grandchildren.

Services were at 1 p.m. today at the Lytle-Gans Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the King's Daughters' Hospice. Cards are available at the funeral home.
