PROSKIN- Steve, age 42, of 127 Main St., Hahntown, Irwin, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Monsour Hospital Monday afternoon. Born in Olyphant, he was a member of the Hahntown-Fairmont Fire Department. Surviving are his widow, Ruth Rorabaugh Proskin, and two sons, both at home. Surviving also are five sisters, Mrs. Ellen Mahoy, Pleasant Valley; Mrs. Mary Globosky, Atlasburg; Mrs. Ann Luster, Washington, Pa.; Mrs. Catherine Hayes, Fairmont; Mrs. Kathleenn Carson, Adams Hill. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. daily at the Vincent V. Rodgers Funeral Home, 310 Third St., Irwin, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in charge of Rev. Harold Hess. Interment will be in the Irwin Union Cemetery.
