Charlie Whittemore was the son of Richard and Jerusha Whittemore. He married Sarah abt 1808 Eden Vermont.
Charlie Whittemore came from New Hampshire to Eden about 1800, He had a farm near the eastern shore of North Pond, where he resided most of his remaining years of his life. He and Sarah raised a family of eight children.
Charlie Whittemore held many of the town offices, and was much respected by his townsmen.
Eden Corners Cemetery is the largest and main cemetery for Eden, Vermont.
