William L. Tressler, 87, of Kingwood, died Sunday in his home. He was born Oct. 17, 1875, in Upper Turkey foot Township, a son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Warner Tressler. Surviving are seven children, Clinton of Connellsville, Walter, Mrs. Molly Kreger and Mrs. Ruth Kreger of Markleton, R. D., Mrs. Mattie Crossen of Smock, Mrs. Alice Lemmon of Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Eva Nell Conners of Everson; 53 grandchildren; 115 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and two half-sisters. Mrs. Fern Chidester of Confluence, R. D., and Mrs. Edna Parnell of Uniontown. His wife, Mrs. Cora Jane Growall Tressler, a daughter and a son preceded him in death. The body is at the Humbert funeral home, Confluence, where the
funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
Earl Show officiating. Interment will be in Old Bethel Cemetery
