Mrs John A. Parnell, 81, of 13510 Coit Road, Cleveland, OH, died early Monday in Uniontown Hospital. She was born Mar 10, 1894 Ursina, Somerset Co, a daughter of Samuel and Katy Younkin Tressler. She was formerly of Connellsville and Uniontown and a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are her husband, John Andrew Parnell; five daughters, Mrs Howard (Alice) Uphold, of Confluence; Mrs George (Elva) Uphold, of Hopwood; Mrs Barbara McClintock, of Uniontown; Mrs Lenora Tate, of Cleveland, OH; and Mrs Deloris Bird, of Connellsville; two sons, Samuel E and John A. Jr, both of Cleveland, OH; 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Friends of Edna May Parnell of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Connellsville and Uniontown, who died Monday, Sep 22, 1975, will be received from 7 to 9 pm today at Brooks Funeral Home Inc., where the services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, with the Rev. Richard Fogel officiating. Interment in Green Ridge Memorial Park.
