MADISON — Wilfred "Bill" J. Doelle, age 85, of 4135 Barby Lane, died on Saturday, June 6, 1992, at a local nursing home. He was born on November 10, 1906, in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. He lived in Madison for over 30 years and worked as a meat cutter at UW-Provisions for many years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Doelle of Madison; three step-children, Gloria (Jack) Groves of North Carolina, Carrol (Ray) Boehlert of Sun Prairie, and Tom Thompson of Madison; three children, Scot (Gail) Doelle of Madison, Lynn (Art) Wilson of Madison, and Sue (Jeff) Palan of Union Grove; three sisters; a brother; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bernard Doelle. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 1992, at 1:00 p.m. at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue. Father Del Klink will officiate. Burial will be in the Vermont Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of services on Tuesday.
