His film and television credits include "Airport 1975," "Serpico," "The Front Page," "The Edge of Night," "The Enchanted Nutcracker," and "The Iceman Cometh." He guest appeared on shows like "Spin City," "Kojak," "One Day at a Time," "Hot L Baltimore," "Maude," "The Nurses," "The Defenders," "The Patty Duke Show," "Route 66," and "Studio One." He appeared on Broadway in "The Front Page" with Helen Hayes and "Comes a Day" with George C. Scott, and was a replacement in the original production of "Gypsy." He also had a regular role as Alex Caldwell on the soap opera, "Love of Life" from 1971 to 1980. He died of natural causes.
