Mrs. McLelland, age 97, of Toomsuba, passed to her heavenly home on May 24, 2013 from Golden Living Center in Meridian.
She was a homemaker who will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
She was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church of Toomsuba for over fifty years. She loved to read her Bible and good Christian Books; to listen to her radio/TV preachers; and she enjoyed cooking and tending her flowers.
She is survived by her four children: Janette Shirley, Toomsuba, MS; Faye Hammond, Greenville, S.C.; Franklin (Towanda) McLelland, Butler, AL; and Kenny (Kathy) McLelland, Arcadia, LA; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter McLelland; her parents, Sam and Myrtle Dunnam; and her brothers, Paul Dunnam and Eddie Lee Dunnam.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Shirley, Mark McLelland, Walter McLelland, Mike Hammond, Tim Morgan, and Donald Thomas.
Honorary pallbearer will be Gavin Thomas.
