Actor, he was born Moise Hirsch. He appeared in silent films of the 1910’s and 1920s, such as “Over the Crib”(1913), “The Great Problem” (1916), and “Janice Meredith” (1924), he also appeared on Broadway inthe original casts of "Barbara Frietchie" (1900),"Love Laughs" (1919) and "Dorian Gray" (1928).
He was the son of Charles Hirsch and Minette Weil Hirsch, and died 10 August 1952 at New York Hospital, Manhattan, New York. Two sisters, "Mrs. Julia Dreyfus and Mrs. I. Abramson of New Orleans," survived him.
