Mrs. Betsy Jane Decker, 70, of Bronston, died Friday following an illness of about 12 years. She was the wife of the late Edd Decker and was married at Somerset in 1912.

The daughter of the late William and Nancy West Young, she was born May 29, 1890 at Mill Springs.

She was a member of the Bronston Baptist Church where she was faithful in attendance as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by five children; Raymond Decker, Obie Decker, Mrs. Effie Foster, all of Bronston, Mrs. Maude Silvers, New Castle, Indiana, Lester Decker, Raceland, and one son, Elmer Young, Bronston.

Funeral Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Alexander Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. W. W. McAlpin and the Rev. Charles E. Correll officiating. Burial was in the Alexander Chapel Cemetery.
