MRS. JACOB CULLEN DIES AT HOME ON MAIN STREET LAST WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Succumbed to Infirmities of Age; Was 91 Years Old
Funeral Will Be Held On Saturday

Mrs. Malissia Ann Cullen, one of Crisfield's most prominent and highly esteemed elderly ladies, died at her home on Main Street, this city, at a late hour Wednesday night. Mrs. Cullen was ninety-one years of age and her death was caused by the infirmities of age.

She was a daughter of the late Elisha and Sally Ward and was the widow of the late Jacob Cullen who preceded her in death several years ago. She was a member of one of Somerset county's oldest and most prominent families.

The deceased was a member of Immanuel M.E. Church, and in her earlier life took an active part in all affairs of the church. She was a devout christian and a tender and loving mother. Her cheerful smile and loving disposition made for her a host of friends who will cherish her memory and mourn her loss.

The deceased is survived by four children, Mrs. Edward P. Wyatt, Mrs. George W. Nealy, Mrs. Josephine Hall, and Mrs. May Pearl Muir, all of Crisfield. One brother, Mr. Thomas I. Ward, of Crisfield, also survives.

Funeral services will be held from her late home on Main Street, tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, at 3:00 P.M., conducted by the Rev. John J. Bunting, pastor of Immanuel M.E. Church, assisted by the Rev. W.L. Hoffman, pastor of Mt. Pleasant M.P. Church.

The pall-bearers will be Messrs. Mark Sterling, Nicholas Riggin, Paul Cullen, Warren Sterling, Dr. George C. Coulbourn, and Dr. William H. Coulbourn.
