Mr. Robert Everson was born in December 11, 1936, in Madison, Alabama, to the late John C. and Joseph Benford Everson. He was one of 11 children.

Robert was baptized into the Harvest Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1998 and served as a devoted deacon. He loved hunting and fishing. He worked for many years at G. W. Jones. He was also a devoted worker at Shelby Construction Company for over 45 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife of 40 years, Mary Everson; his daughters, Loretta Shoulders, Frances Everson, Milla (Elroy) Clark, Angla Cartwright, and Mekesha (Terrell) Price; son, Kerry (Kathy) Smith; two sisters, Fannie (Jesse) Fletcher and Doyle Everson; mother-in-law, Johnnie P. Wade; four sisters-in-law, Willie Wade, Linda (Joe) Eason, Lucille (Jerry) Hammonds, and Vickie (Anthony) McAdory; three brothers-in-law, Leon (Maggie) Wade, Danny Wade, and Anthony (Tracie) Wade, 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral service will be 12Noon on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the New Life Seventh-day Adventist Church (4906 Blue Spring Rd, Huntsville, AL) with Pastor Prentiss Sorrells officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Everson will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be from 11am-6pm on Sunday, June 3, 2012; and from 8:30-10am on Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Royal Funeral Home.
