Oneal Rigdon Gray, 96, born January 24, 1917 entered into rest June 17, 2013. She was a resident at Green Meadow Haven Nursing Home in Coushatta, LA. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the funeral home.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Merle Gray; son, Claude Dean Gray; parents, Thomas Stephens Rigdon and Dora Meadie Smith Rigdon; granddaughter, Theresa Gail Arender; son-in-law, Michael Everett Vail; and two brothers.

Mrs. Gray is survived by three daughters, Shelbie Jean Lester of Coushatta, LA, Linda Joy Gray Scott and husband, Wayne Scott of Benton, LA and Peggy Merline Gray Vail of Coushatta, LA; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Green Meadow Haven, Shreveport-Bossier Hospice, and Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home.
