Funeral rites were held Jan 17 at St Joseph's Church for Mrs Clara Soccorsi Ciferri, 87, a long time resident of Millbrook. Mrs. Ciferri had died Jan 15 at Sharon hospital. A native of Itri, Italy, she was born March 8, 1890, and was the daughter of Vincent and Filomena Soccorsi. She was the wife of the late Henry Ciferri. She is survived by a son, Theodore Ciferri, of Millbrook; five daughters, Mrs Dora Ialongo, Mrs Gerald Sherow, Mrs. Mary Setaro, Mrs Anna DeFazio, and Mrs Fanny Sorrentino, all of Millbrook; plus several grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sons, Edward, James & Almerindo Ciferri.
