MRS. JULIA A. ROSS
Mrs. Julia A. Ross, wife of Malcolm S. Ross, died at the family home at Conewango Valley Monday, aged 71 years. She had been a resident of Conewango Valley all her life and before her marriage was Julia A. Gardner. Besides the husband she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jessie E. Hermance of Walden, Mrs. J. R. Swarts of Jamestown, Mrs. E. L. Parker of Binghamton, and Helen B. Barhite of Conewango; one son, Robert B. Ross of Conewango Valley; three sisters, Mrs. C. D. Kenyon of Walden, Miss E. Rose Gardner of Corning and Mrs. J. F. Goodrich of Fredonia; and a brother, D. W. Gardner of Walden. Eight grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Ross was widely known in the vicinity of Conewango Valley where she and her husband had conducted a hotel since 1879. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon.
