George E. Doyle – The Aegis October 26, 1994
"George Earl Doyle, 75, of Street died at his home Oct. 18.
Born in Street, he was the son of the late Kemmitt and Cora Miller Doyle.
He was the husband of Dorothy E. (Montgomery) Doyle who died Aug. 17, 1991.
A lifelong resident of Harford County, he retired in 1971 after 24 ears of service as a testing equipment operator at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Slate Ridge Post 182, American Legion in Whiteford and the Darlington-Dublin Post 10146, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by a sister, Martha Teague of Street; a stepdaughter, Phyllis J. Howk of Darlington; one step-grandson and four step-great grandsons.
Services were held Friday at the Harkins Funeral Home, Inc., 600 Main Street, Delta, Pa., with the Rev. Pastor John E. Monk officiating. Interment was in Emory Cemetery in Street.
Pallbearers were Michael Joines, Jason Joines, Nick Joines, Gerald Burkins, Bob
Street and Harold Grace."
