ANN CHILES

Ann Laurie Chiles, 64, of University Heights Apartments, died at 3 p.m. Friday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a short illness.

A worship service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. James McKenzie officiating. Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The body was cremated.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born October 17, 1923, the daughter of the late James Agee and Ruth Major Chiles. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, John T. Kerwin, Chicago, Ill., Michael Kerwin, Lexington and Gregory Kerwin, San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Susan Christensen, Watertown, TN.; two brothers, James A Chiles, Jr., Christian County and W. Phillip Chiles, Hopkinsville; a sister, Susan Frances Covington, Hopkinsville; and seven grandchildren.
