Mrs. Robert (Eleanor) K. Hammond, 70, of 617 pine St., died at 10:50 a.m. Monday at County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born March 26, 1903 in Jackson twp., a daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth Trego Markley. On July 9, 1925, she had been married to Robert K. Hammond, who survives. She was a member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene.
Besides her husband, survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Grace Richcreek, Route 5, Mrs. Emily Klosick, West Lafayette and Mrs. Galena Henderson, Millersburg. One brother and three sisters are deceased.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Given Funeral Home with the Rev. E. L. Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery near West Lafayette.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until time for services on Thursday.
