Calvin F. Camp was one of five children born to Calvin B. Camp and Rebecca Finley.
Calvin signed up for active duty during the US Civil War. He enlisted in Company E of the Pennsylvania 192nd Infantry in July 12, 1864 achieving the rank of Private. Calvin mustered out on November 11, 1864.
Calvin was united in marriage in 1875 to Josephine Huston, daughter of John W. Huston and Alice Williamson. Calvin and Josephine were blessed with the birth of a son during their short marriage, George Rex Camp.
Calvin passed away at the young age of 30.
