Mrs. Alice E. Grantham, wife of William H. Grantham, died at the family home at Stockwell, at 5:45 Tuesday evening. She had been in poor health for some time and death was due to pernicious anemia. Mrs. Grantham was sixty-nine years of age and the greater part of her life was spent in Lauramie township. The deceased was a consistent worker in the Methodist church and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Arthur E. Grantham, of Richmond, Va.; Clem Grantham, of Crawfordsville; Miss Lula Grantham, of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Esta Aldrich, of South Bend. Funeral services will be conducted from the Stockwell M. E. church at 11:00, Thursday morning. Rev. Meredith will officiate.
