George Jarrad
Born October 21st 1792, and died October 3d 1816.
Grieve not my wife, nor mother dear.
Your son's not dead but sleeping here.
My debt is paid, my grave you see,
Prepare for Death and follow me.
O that our souls may rise on wings of love,
And happy fly to Paradise above
Where sin and sorrow shall forever cease.
And we be crown'd with endless joy and peace.
The son of George and Margaret
Jarrad, now M. Foyles, consort of
Thos Foyles. A forlorn and aged
mother, who can only mourn over
The last remain (unreadable) ten children.
