Mrs. Alvina Bachle
MRs. Alvina Bachle, 93, of the Americana Nursing Center, died at the home at 2:35 p.m. Friday of complications of her age.
She was born Oct. 23, 1873, in Germany and came to this country as a small child. She was the daughter of Rudolph and Carolina Frederick Brock.
She was married to Frank Bachle Nov. 11, 1896, in Waterloo.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Raphael Brennan, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Ray J. Zwisler, of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Helen Lander, of Chicago; four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Parrott & Wood funeral home, the Rev. LaVerne Kampfe, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, officiated. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today.
