Marie V. Menear Billmeyer, 80, of Martinsburg, WV, died on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the City Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
Mrs. Billmeyer was born on December 12, 1928 in Grafton, WV, and was a daughter of the late Homer and Rena Summers Menear.
She was a 1946 graduate of Grafton High School. She worked for Grafton Apparel in Grafton, WV and volunteered at the Berkeley County Senior Citizens in Martinsburg, WV.
Mrs. Billmeyer was married to Wayne W. Billmeyer on March 4, 1977 in Oakland, MD.
Surviving with her husband of 32 years are three daughters, Judy Hartman of Kinsman, OH, Diane Hamilton and husband Kevin of Tunnelton, WV, and Carolyn Young and husband Chuck of Jeffersontown, KY; one sister, Linda Peters and husband Raymond of Grafton, WV; three step-sons, Jim Billmeyer and wife Wanda of Rio, WV, Doug Billmeyer and wife Delores of Rio, WV and Dick Billmeyer and wife Kim of Fernley, NV; one step-daughter Peggy Kline and husband Andrew of Kirby, WV; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Paul Menear.
