George Kohl Rites
To Be Thursday
Funeral services for George R. Kohl, 73, will be held Thursday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Hennessey & Van Cleave Funeral Chapel. The Earl E. Josten will officiate and Mrs. Henry Gravert will be organist. Burial will be in the Logan, Iowa Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Walter Powell, Gust Papados, Clarence Thomas, William Thomas, Ora Mendenhall, and Chris Clausen.
Mr. Kohl, who was a former North Western Ry. employe, died July 31 at his home here at 113 South Seventh St. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Inez Donnelson and Mrs. Pearl Unmack, both of this city. The deceased was married to Bell Brundige Sept. 1, 1912. She passed away Feb. 25, 1916. He had been a member of the Methodist Church since he was 10 years old.
