Actress in theater and film. From 2010 she was the dean of the Comédie-Française, which had joined in 1973. She played works of the most important European playwrights including Moliere, Maxime Gorki, Italo Svevo, Marguerite Duras and William Shakespeare. In 2011 she was awarded the Molière prize for her performance in "Un Fil à la patte", of Georges Feydeau, directed by Jérôme Deschamps, a success of Comédie-Française in that year.
