TOOLAN - At his home, Highland avenue and Fayette street, Wednesday Dec. 17, 70 years old, Patrick Toolan. The immediate cause of death was dropsy, from which he had been suffering for several weeks. The funeral will be held Friday morning, December 19, at 9 o'clock. Services in the Immaculate Conception Church of which deceased was a member, and interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Patrick Toolan was born in County Roscommon, Ireland. When 15 years old he immigrated to the United States. Later he returned to Ireland, where he married Miss Bridget Tearney, who died 22 years ago. He made his home, with his family, in Braddock, West Newton and Connellsville. He has lived in Connellsville for the past 14 years.
Six children survive as follows: Peter, McKees Rocks; James, Glencoe, Md.; Katherine, Annie, Mary and John, all at home.
