Elise Bordes Stonecypher passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013, age 93.


Beloved wife of the late Earl Stonecypher. Mother of Joan and Jane Stonecypher and the late Jean S. Sclafani. Sister of Ned Bordes. Grandmother of Peter Sclafani, III (Michelle) and Gino Sclafani (Simone). Great grandmother of Peter, IV, Katherine, Gino, Jr., Olivia Sclafani, Bradley and Evan Meyers.


Special thanks to Dr. Monty Glorioso, Caregivers: Katherine Harris and Leah Rutledge, Family Home Health: Maria Roach, Hospice Compassus: Laurie B. White, Aide: Kantrell Norris and River Region Hospice.


Mrs. Stonecypher was a co manager with her spouse at LaNasa Hardware Store in New Orleans.


Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm.


Interment in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.


In lieu of flowers donations preferred to River Region Hospice, 507 Upstream St., River Ridge, LA 70123.
