Adam Rose
Adam Rose, a pioneer of Lewis county, died Wednesday morning,
Nov. 9, at the family home in Pe Ell, aged 63 years. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church in Pe Ell. Rev. G.A. Obenhaus of Chehalis officiating. Interment was in the Pe Ell cemetery under the direction of E.C. Fissel. Deceased had made his home in Lewis county for the past 20 years. He was proprietor of a meat market in Pe Ell. He is survived by a widow; six sons, Adam, Joseph, Christ, Jacob, Peter and August Rose; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Keller, Mrs. Katherine Aust, Mrs. Emma Burns and Mrs. Barbara Decker; two brothers, Anton and Frank Rose; and 25 grandchildren, all of Pe Ell; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Gross of Centralia and Mrs. Katherine Neihart of Pe Ell.
