Eleazer Snow is buried at Melrose Cemetery along with other veterans of the Revolutionary War that lived and died in old north precint of Bridgewater (now Brockton). Eleazer Snow is descendant from William Snow and Rebeckah Browne (father Peter Browne of the Mayflower). He has a headstone and a footstone.

The Melrose Cemetery office has no record of Eleazer Snow. However, his burial in the Melrose Cemetery is documented by the Massachusetts Society of the Sons of the American Revolution in their book SOLDIERS AND SAILORS WHOSE GRAVES HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED BY THE MARKER OF THE SOCIETY published in 1901 on page 14.

Eleazer's burial in Melrose is also documented in VITAL RECORDS OF BROCKTON MASSACHUSETTS TO THE YEAR 1850 published by the New England Historic Genealogical Society in 1911 on page 361. This source states Eleazer's status as a Lieutenant.

Eleazer’s service is described in two sources that don’t always agree. One is the HISTORY OF NORTH BRIDGWATER, Chapter 12, and MASSACHUSETTS SOLDIERS AND SAILORS OF THE WAR OF THE REVOLUTION, Vol. 14, page 605.
