Mrs. Jacob Blau, 73, Manitowoc, who has relatives living in the Brillion area, died at her home at 8 o’clock Wednesday night after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Blau was born Oct. 9, 1875 at Francis Creek in Manitowoc County and was married in Brillion in 1894. The Blaus lived most of their married life in Cecil in Shawano County. In 1945 they moved to Manitowoc.
Mrs. Blau is survived by the widower; one brother, Peter Rank of Manitowoc, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Darsaw of Muskegan, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at the Luecker Funeral home in Brillion. The Rev. Kenneth Knoespel, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren church of Brillion, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Brillion city cemetery.
