BERTHA CARPINTEYRO, age 81, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at her home in Dilley.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rafael Carpinteyro; brothers, Armando Sanchez and Amador Sanchez; sister, Doralinda Rodriguez, and her parents Jose and Francisca (Garcia) Sanchez.
She is survived by her sons, Rafael Carpinteyro and his wife, Irma of Uvalde, Ricardo Carpinteyro and his wife, Soraida of Dilley; daughter, Rose Reyes and her husband, Ray of San Antonio; brothers, Joe Sanchez of Houston, Pat Sanchez of San Antonio, Paul Sanchez of San Antonio; sisters, Alicia Gonzales of Laredo, Maria DeJesus Ramirez of Poteet; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pearsall, Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 2:00pm until 9:00pm, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 4, 2011, at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dilley, with interment to follow in the Cotulla Cemetery.
