Betty Blount Dewberry, age 74, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Monday, December 2, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Ron Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Scaly Mountain, NC, Mrs. Dewberry moved to Breman, GA from Mableton, GA over 10 years ago. She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Breman. She retired from Mayfield Trucking in Mableton, then worked for the State of Georgia as a Fleet Inspector for several years. She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles R. Blount and Charles K. Dewberry.

She is survived by 2 Sons, Tim (Kim York) Blount, Hiram, GA and David (Dawn) Blount, Dallas, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Elizabeth (Blake) Childers, Rome, GA and Grady Blount, Athens, GA; Siblings, Wilton Vinson, Prattville, AL, Lucille Green, Williamson, GA and Selma Green, Stephens, GA; and a host of Nieces, Nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty Dewberry's memory to Bethel Baptist Church, 2656 Old Bushmill Road, Breman, GA 30110. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home
