Thomas Underwood, a life-long resident of this town, arose last Saturday morning in apparent good health, done his chores and after breakfast took a paper and sat down to read and in a few minutes complained of a pain across him. Help was called but in lees than five minutes he was gone. The funeral was held at the house today at
1 o'clock. Rev L. S. Boyd, officiated.
