Walker Pearson, the 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. J. Pearson who lives on Capitol Hill was drowned last Friday in the irrigation ditch which runs near their place.
When Mrs. Pearson discovered that the little fellow was gone she immediately called for help. The body was soon found but too late to revive the boy.
Funeral services were held Sunday and conducted by S. F. McCully of the Advent Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Pearson are grief stricken over this sad case. This is the second child that was drowned. Several years ago they lost a two year old daughter in an irrigation ditch. The entire town feels and extends sympathy toward the bereaved family.
