Gladys M. (Myers) Allison, 77, died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005, at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Evan D. Allison to whom she was married 34 years. Funeral Monday, July 11, 2005, at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Spring Grove, with her pastor, Rev. Paul W. Gausmann, officiating. Burial in Jefferson Cemetery. Mrs. Allison was born June 2, 1928, in North Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Allen E. and Lora S. (Cramer) Myers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Trinity Road, York. In addition to her husband, Evan, Mrs. Allison leaves two sons, Robert K. Crowell, Jr. of Dover and David A. Crowell of York; a stepdaughter, Jean A. Rocco of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Jennifer LindseyStevens, Neil, Scott and Braden Crowell, and Alicia Rocco; two brothers, Earnest A. Myers, Sr. of Hanover and Kenneth G. Myers of Spring Grove; and a sister, Loretta A. Lecrone of York. She was preceded in death by brother, Donald L. Myers in 1991; and a sister, Janet M. Miller in 1993. [York Daily Record]
