NDIANAPOLIS
Vastie Cross

Vastie Cross, 87, died Wednesday at Harborside Health Care Center in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

She was born April 24,1909, in Clay County, Tenn. Her parents were Harvey and Anna (McCormick) Trobaugh. She married Mack E. Cross Feb. 25, 1929, in Clay County, Tenn. He preceded her in death May 13, 1977. Survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Cross of Greenwood and Paul D. Cross of Indianapolis; two daughters, Dean Waggoner of Lizton and Bea Lawrence of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, Dillard Trobaugh; five sisters; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She Was a homemaker and a member of Central Wesleyan Church in Indianapolis.

A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
