Saturday rites for Dumas

Dumas Cross, 50, 455 Park Drive, Greenwood, died Wednesday at the Johnson County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Mr. Cross was born in Moss, Tenn., on September 5,1926, and had lived in the Greenwood area for 47 years.

He was employed at the Indianapolis Drop Forge Company until his retirement in October 1963. He was past president of the United Steel Workers local at the company.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn, at home; a son, Ronald, Greenwood; three daughters, Mrs. Connie West and Mrs. Bonnie Redding, both of Greenwood, and Mrs. Donna Cummings, Evenly, England. Three brothers, Donald and Roy of Indianapolis and Paul of Uzton and two sisters, Mrs. Bea Lawrence of Indianapolis and Mrs. Dean Waggoner of Listen also survive.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Cross of Indianapolis also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the J.C. Wilson Greenwood Chapel with burial in?Fores* Lawnk Cemetery. FrienotflnaFcair any time prior to the funeral.
