Isaac and Mary were farmers and worked very hard on the farm to take care of their family. Mary would can up all kinds of fruits and vegetables and make clothes and quilts.
Isaac would toil in the fields with his mules . On the night he died he was in the field when it started to storm very badly. Knowing he could not make it back to the house he went under a tree , the tree was struck by lighting killing him. Family history says they were a very loving couple.
The first story of Isaac's death came from his Grandson Clifford Cowan and Great Granddaughter Debbie Hatton
