Tolson funeral Monday
Memorial services for Mrs. Katie E Tolson, 69, 1749 E Spring St, wife of Andy Tolson, former principal of Tucson High School, will be held at 2:30 pm tomorrow at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 740 N 4th Ave.
Private funeral services, directed by Arizona Mortuary, 4601 E 1st St, will be held Monday. Friends may call tomorrow afternoon and evening at the mortuary chapel.
Mrs. Tolson died yesterday after an illness.
She was born in Troy, Ariz., and moved to Tucson in 1921.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Bradley A Tolson of Tucson; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Ann French of Oxnard, Calif.; a brother Eugene Carson of Roosevelt Lake, three sisters, Edna Carson of Tucson, Velma Edmondson of Payson and Mildred Westerfield of Mammoth; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the Section of Hematology and Oncology for Research and Education Fund, Arizona Medical Center, or to the Katie Tolson Memorial Fund at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
