Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols, widow of Perry Nichols, died at the home of a son, Ernest Nichols, at East Palmyra on Monday, following a brief illness.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Hattie J. Shaw of Palmyra and Mrs. Etta Bardine of Syracuse; one brother, Charles Barker of Syracuse; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Aldrich of Farmington; five sons, John of Palmyra, Morey and Ernest of Palmyra, Louis of Canandaigua and Edward of Fairport; also 26 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held from the home of her son Ernest at 2 o'clock this Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Leon L. Swarthout. pastor of Manchester Baptist Church, will officiate. The remains will be placed in the receiving vault at North Farmington cemetery.
